Orienteering New Zealand is forming the organising committee. Until it is appointed, this page is the official source for JWOC 2029 information, and the embargo is the one thing that already applies.
- 2026: IOF Council awards JWOC 2029 to New Zealand.
- 2026: Embargo declared. Organising committee forming.
- 2027: Committee and IOF Senior Event Adviser appointed.
- 2028: Bulletin 1. Accommodation and travel information.
- 2029: Entries open. JWOC, November-December.
